A PROGRAM TO CELEBRATE THE YOUNG PEOPLE WHO CREATE COMMUNITY THROUGH THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS
AND COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITY VALUES.
Our Community Values are: Generosity, Environmentalism, Citizenship, Human Worth and Dignity, Learning, Respect, Responsibility and Integrity.
Some examples include, but are not limited to:
· Projects through community-based youth groups such as Scouting or 4H
· Service to the faith community
· Leadership or service at school, service–learning projects
· Volunteerism
Here is how you can honor a young person who is truly outstanding:
- Complete the recognition form below.
- Print this form and submit it, by February 15, to your school principal, your school’s parent involvement coordinator, or to Andrea Sjogren at the District Education Center, 11 Peavey Rd, Chaska. Or, you can simply complete this form online and hit “submit” below. The form will be e-mailed directly to the Community Education Department.
- These youth will be recognized at the community celebration program, “Celebrating Youth…Celebrating Community” on March 15, 2010, 7 PM, in the Chanhassen Senior High School Auditorium.
